Adar Gandelsman

 Adar Gandelsman (Hebrew Adr gndlsmn) is an Israeli beauty pageant winner and model. Adar was Miss Israel's 2017's initial third-place winner, winning the title Miss Universe Israel. She also competed in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Adar took part in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant in Las Vegas, but did not place. At the pageant, Gandelsman snapped a photo with Sarah Idan, Miss Universe Iraq that year. In December 2017, Idan as well as her family emigrated to Iraq because of the outrage of Iraqi citizens over her posing for a photo with Miss Israel who had also been a member of the Israel Defense Forces at the time, Gandelsman was born in Ashkelon, Israel, and is the daughter of Ashkenazi Jewish parents who immigrated to Israel from Brazil in 1992.
